HUAWEI CES 2016

HUAWEI made its amazing appearance on the global exhibition CES again in 2016. This time, they brought not only well-designed and well-crafted Mate 8 and bigger MediaPad M2 10.0, but also the HUAWEI WATCH for women, JEWEL&ELEGANT, which have been well-received in the market as well as the industry.

The fashionable and elegant HUAWEI section drew a lot of visitors and the visitors kept saying that they are so proud of HUAWEI. The experience tables and display props were quite artistic and exquisite,especially the display scheme designed just for HUAWEI WATCH, which popped out of its congeners and showed the perfect combination of perpetual classic and future technology.

The new display scheme of HUAWEI was coordinated with many different parts and the perfection of the ensembles was made of the exquisite crafting of all the details. This display scheme was created by LaurelsScent, based on the display scheme of 2015. After months’ renovation and melioration with top design teams in Europe, we showed the best aspect of HUAWEI WATCH through our display scheme.

As matter of fact , this prop was specially designed for HUAWEI WATCH for women by LaurelsScent and our Spanish design teams, based on the WATCH DISPLAY SOLUTION, which made its first appearance on IFA 2015. This design was inspired by the seventh wonder:pyramid. This elegant display prop expressed the character of being timeless, simplified the layers of men’s watch’s display and focused on the product.

Like traditional watch, HUAWEI WATCH should be an indispensable part of people’s lives. As it showing its classic design, it should also serve people in a more conversant way. This try-on table expressed the product’s tonality perfectly. It kept the way that traditional watch stores displaying their watches and allowed visitors to try on at the same time.

There are two different watches in the new series, JEWEL&ELEGANT. No matter “she” is sparkling like Swaroski or fashionable and elegant as Karlie Kloss, “she” has the lifestyle people want to learn about. So we use Knolling to show the daily various beauty of “she”. We can see her focusing on her work, having fun in her free time and stunning while she’s attending a dinner party.

try-on station: Circle&Line

Wrapped around your wrist, lying on your bedside table, two circumstances that traditional watches are usually in. Consumers should see HUAWEI WATCH as their new friends in old scenarios, they reunite and company one another after since. The leather pad is for trying on while the round glass is cute and catchy. Open the drawer, you can see more watches, wrapped or lying. You can easily try them on, which is convenient and impressing.

display partner: lighting

You can’t display well without settling proper lighting. We chose glass over acrylic for better photopermeability and we also set spotlights skillfully to make sure the lighting differs from place to place, creating a perfect impression. While working on this solution, we discussed many times and made many adjustments in details with our foreign teams. Combining the lighting on site, we showed this artistic display eventually.

From IFA 2015 to CES 2016, with MWC 2016 on the track, LaurelsScent communicate and cooperate with many foreign teams to create the best solution. Exhibition is an important part of brand experiencing and we insist that good designs are logical. So we base on the brand, use our experience in retail marketing and deal with every detail logically to amplify the effect of experiencing.

Display section, for instance, seems like just a job of putting things. Not exactly. We’ve seen many other display schemes just lying their products straightly, which create a lot of sense of distance and are easy to get tanglesome. So we have to reproduce the scenes of consumers’ daily lives, so that we can reduce the distance between products and consumers and eliminate the strangeness. By showing brand caring in details, we try our best to express HUAWEI’s warm welcome.

Besides the devotion in strategy and design, picking out proper foreign resources and cooperating with them are never easy.

Possessing resources around the world and basing on our need, we pick the proper partner with both best capacity and price and keep this friendly partnership as long as we can.
